To provide an ultimate level of service to the lenders who in turn support members, branches, employees, and clients of American Heritage Credit Union with regards to all home equity loan applications and servicing functions. This service is delivered via actions, accountability and with integrity.

- Thorough knowledge of all credit union's products and services
- Primary roles and responsibilities that includes having expertise to:
- Act as primary departmental "Go-To Person" for any and all roles and responsibilities described below.
- Assist in the loan origination process for home equity loans
- Order all third-party home equity services and upload each document into MeridianLink
- Home appraisal
- Flood certification
- Lien Search
- Legal research (deed)
- Process and deliver all necessary home equity loan disclosures to loan applicant(s)
- Contact 3rd Party Real Estate Services (Universal) for property report order status and lien/judgment corrections
- Answer escalated calls regarding home equity loans
- Support Branch staff with property report order status
- Review Title Search and Appraisal for accuracy
- Create supporting document package and upload to Meridian Link
- Perform vesting process in Meridian Link to ensure valid AMHFCU lien placement
- Perform loan closing setup to ensure accurate loan processing
- Review post-closing documents to ensure all needed signatures are present
- Print all supporting documentation
- Create package for Quality Control and scanning
- Perform the loans funding process
- Booking the loan into Symitar
- Process and mail checks to creditors, if applicable
- Perform all out-state/junior lien First Heritage loans home equity loans that includes:
- Loan application process, if applicable
- Retrieving third-party mortgage recording fees
- Order all third-party home equity services and upload each document into MeridianLink
- Home appraisal
- Flood certification
- Lien Search
- Legal research (deed)
- Process and deliver all necessary home equity loan disclosures to loan applicant(s)
- Perform vesting process in Meridian Link to ensure valid AMHFCU lien placement
- Perform loan closing setup to ensure accurate loan processing
- Prepare loan documents for signing
- Provide closing package to Title Company
- Review post-closing documents to ensure all needed signatures are present
- Print all supporting documentation
- Create package for Quality Control and scanning
- Perform the loans funding process
- Complete and process wire requests for disbursement of loan proceeds
- Booking the loan into Symitar
- Process and mail checks to creditors, if applicable
- Proactively provide secondary support with strong working knowledge to:
- Assist in the handling of loan servicing requests
- Support Lending Support Specialist I staff with all home equity processing questions/issues
- Support the Loan Center staff with all home equity loan processing questions/issues
- Support Quality Control staff with correcting application errors
- Monitor and maintain help desk ticket requests, including but not limited to:
- Changes in loan terms
- Coupon book orders
- Payment method changes
- Incorrect payment research
- Assist in the handling of loan servicing requests
- Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates.
- Remain current and knowledgeable of all aspects of local, state and federal regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two to five years of experience with knowledge in lending operations preferred
- Strong understanding of all loan products including home equity loans preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Symitar and Meridian Link preferred.
- Strong knowledge/adherence of Real Estate Lending Local, Federal and State regulations/guidelines.
- Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
- Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
EDUCATION:
- Requires education equivalent to a four-year high school education.
WORK HOURS:
- Full time position
- Required Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Rotating Friday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Rotating Saturday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Hours are subject to change at any time at the discretion of management based on the needs of the Credit Union.
