Position Overview:
As a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our Windows-based environment, performing routine IT tasks, and providing front-line technical support. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and update software, including printer drivers and other applications.
- Perform light Active Directory (AD) administration tasks such as password resets.
- Assist in moving and setting up equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 technical issues in a Windows environment.
- Provide technical support for desktop and peripheral hardware.
- Collaborate with the IT team.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of desktop support experience.
- Strong familiarity with Windows OS and related troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory (password resets, user management).
- Basic knowledge of printer and peripheral installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
