Provide behavioral health counseling services.
- Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
- Administer individual and group therapy.
- Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
Strongly preferred Master's degree in counseling or social work
Required: LPC/LSW. Preferred LCPC/LCSW
1+ years experience with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities for therapeutic intervention.
Must be able to travel to Hoffman Estates once a week
Work schedule - NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS:
Mon & Wed: 10:00AM-7:00PM
Tue & Thurs: 9:00AM-6:00PM
Fri: 9:00AM-3:00PM
