Responsibilities
Provides behavioral health counseling services.
+ Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
+ Administer individual and group therapy.
+ Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
+ Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
+ Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community
+ Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
One or more of the following:
+ Counselor credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.
+ Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board ofLicensed Social Workers.
+ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
Preferred Credential(s):
+ BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Clinical Counselor preferred
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
