MMP Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to provide comprehensive counseling services in support of a well-known organization. As an LCPC, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals, couples, families, and groups within the community. Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Counseling Services: Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
2. Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' presenting concerns, strengths, and treatment needs. Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on assessment findings, clinical diagnosis, and client goals.
3. Psychoeducation and Skill Building: Facilitate psychoeducational workshops, support groups, and skill-building sessions on topics such as stress management, coping skills, communication techniques, and conflict resolution. Empower clients to develop and implement effective coping strategies for managing their mental health symptoms.
4. Collaborative Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate integrated care plans for clients. Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and multidisciplinary rounds to ensure holistic and coordinated care delivery.
5. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethics standards. Document therapy sessions, progress notes, treatment goals, and outcomes using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks and documentation requirements.
6. Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends, research findings, and best practices in the field of counseling and psychotherapy. Pursue ongoing training, continuing education opportunities, and professional certifications to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of DC,MD or VA.
- Minimum of three years of post-licensure experience providing clinical counseling services.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapy modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
