Job Details
Job Summary:
- Provide mental health services to incarcerated individuals in a Georgia correctional facility
- Assess, diagnose, and treat inmates with mental health concerns
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy
- Collaborate with medical staff and correctional officers
- Document patient interactions and treatments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention
- Assist in developing and implementing reentry programs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Current LCSW license in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year supervised experience
- Corrections or forensic experience preferred
- Understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
