Responsibilities
- Nurture strong customer relationships and aim to increase client retention and product loyalty.
- Presents and explains insurance policy options based on client needs and personal goals.
- Continue to look for and recognize opportunities to cross-sell/account rounding.
- Utilize various computer systems for daily transactions, take premium payments, review, update, and make changes to policies, claim handling, and endorsements.
- Ensure consistent and prompt communication with clients to address their needs and concerns to ensure retention standards.
- Shop renewals based on client updates and plans and current market conditions.
Requirements
- Candidate must have an active Pennsylvania Property and Casualty License with 1 year of previous insurance/customer service experience. Prefer some commercial lines experience.
- Basic computer software knowledge. Experience using an Agency Management System (AMS) is preferred.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and be able to handle multiple policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
- Assess incoming tasks, requests, and inquiries to determine their level of urgency and importance, effectively managing time and resources to meet client needs.
- Act as a dedicated team player, fostering collaboration and supporting colleagues in delivering excellent service to clients.
- Set ambitious service goals, continuously striving to exceed performance targets and deliver exceptional results to clients.
- Exemplify professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
