YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

This dental hygiene job enjoys a four-day workweek of Monday - Thursday. Occasional travel may be necessary to participate in continuing education or seminars.

As a Licensed Dentist Hygienist - Oral Hygiene Expert, you are the chief provider of preventative care in our practice. Your job is to motivate, educate, and provide excellent treatment to our patients. Each day, you work hard to remove deposits from teeth and examine our patients for signs of oral disease. As you do so, you are attentive to detail, reassuring, and compassionate. With enthusiasm and kindness, you teach our patients how to improve their dental hygiene, and you love to see their progress each time they return.

As part of your duties, you also take X-rays, provide fluoride treatments, and apply sealants. You also assist our dentist with exams, taking notes and keeping our patients' records up to date. By discovering problem areas, you help the doctor correctly diagnose and treat our patients, which makes you an invaluable member of our team.
