IES Residential is currently seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician in Oklahoma City, OK.
The Licensed Electrician plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential settings. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures to ensure the efficient and safe operation of residential electrical systems.
- Responsible for installing electrical systems in residential buildings, including wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify and resolve issues such as faulty wiring, circuit overload, and malfunctioning equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems in residential properties to assess their condition, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Educate homeowners on electrical safety practices and procedures to promote awareness and reduce risks.
- Residential Journeyman OR Journeyman License
- Experience in residential electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Physical ability to perform electrical work, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects.
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
