Job Description
- Primary responsibility is performing facial services, waxing and body treatments.
- Work is to be practiced within the scope of your practice while upholding the professional code of ethics.
- This is a commissioned, nonexempt position
- Supervised directly by the Lead Esthetician, followed by the Spa Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Providing guests with a thorough, knowledgeable and professional treatment according to Spa protocol.
- Comprehend and abide by the Great American Dining Company and The Spa policies.
- Maintains scheduled work hours.
- Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, concern and professionalism when addressing guest’ needs.
- Practices universal health care protocol while interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Set up and break down of assigned treatment room; maintaining a neat and well stocked room.
- Completion and submission of necessary paperwork, regularly checks mailbox, reads posted notices on bulletin board.
- Attend monthly staff meetings, departmental meetings and workshops as directed.
- Exercise dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibility.
- Build and maintain repeat clientele.
- Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor when unable to resolve alone.

Job Related Duties:
- Regular cleaning and vacuuming of treatment rooms, treatment hallway and supplies & equipment therein.
- Bringing to the attention of management any and all equipment in need of repair.
- Bringing to the attention of management any and all supplies and items in need of reorder.
- Maintaining laundry supply within The Spa (each therapists should do a minimum of 2 loads per shift).
- Ensuring cleanliness and order throughout The Spa.
- Assisting other therapists in set up or breakdown of treatment rooms to aid in smooth daily operation of The Spa.
- Assisting in the greeting of guests when needed.
- Providing information to other therapists in areas which you may be more knowledgeable to allow for professional growth within the Esthetics department.
- Any other tasks which may be delegated by Lead Therapist or Spa Director.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current New Hampshire Esthetics license
- Must possess a minimum of 500 hours of training from an accredited/approved Esthetics school.
- Must be able to perform services as Spa protocol dictates.
- Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason.
- Must work as a team player, assisting in the seemingly flawless operation of The Spa.
- Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions.

- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
- Must be a team player.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must hold and maintain a New Hampshire esthetician license
