Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - Primary Location

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born salesperson with a desire to make a difference in peoples lives. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Specialist your primary role will be helping grow the revenue of the office by offering products that people need for their security and peace of mind. The Sales Specialist role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. This role maintains effective customer relationships, understands customer's needs and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings. There will also be opportunities to promote brand awareness through participation in agency and community events.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity.

• Property & Casualty Insurance license required
• Insurance sales experience required
• Life Insurance license within three months of hiring.
• High school diploma.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Be capable of handling customer rejection.
