Job Summary:
The Sales Agent - Life position supports our SelectQuote Life division by selling fully-underwritten life insurance with a focus on term and permanent policies. You’ll be delivered warm leads on a daily basis with no cold-calling, prospecting, or travel required.
High earning potential – Majority of Sales Agents make over $100K annually in a W-2 environment
High volume – Steady influx of leads resulting in several sales per day
Warm leads – All leads are provided and most are pre-screened and delivered as warm transfers
Focus on selling – Our Case Management department handles administrative support
No prior insurance sales experience required – We will provide training to prepare you for success
Licensing in multiple states – Fees paid for and processed on your behalf

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
SelectQuote offers high base-pay during your ramping period plus performance-based earnings that result in an average first-year compensation of $80K. After their first year, over half of the Sales Agents in the Life division earn over $100K annually, and our top performing Sales Agents earn over $200K annually.

Skills/Abilities:
Time Efficiency & Technology Skills – Successful Sales Agents thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, technology-driven environment and are able to multitask and manipulate multiple screens including our CRM, quote tool, and carrier guidelines while continuing a structured conversation with the client
Coachability & Willingness to Learn – Successful Sales Agents continually seek opportunities to hone their skills and are quick to absorb the feedback and coaching provided through workshops and call reviews (listening to their own calls as well as others’) in addition to taking advantage of the many resources at their disposal for further training and development
Competitive Personality & an Internal Motivation – Successful Sales Agents are tenacious one-call-closers and possess a strong drive to succeed along with the ambition to improve each day and achieve each new goal set in front of them
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or the equivalent is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 1-year sales experience preferred with a strong history of award-winning success
Remote or Work-From-Home experience preferred
Life & Health resident insurance license. If you do not currently have a Life & Health resident insurance license, you must become licensed by a given deadline. (Licensing costs will be reimbursed after successfully completing our training program.)
Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Hardwired high speed internet connection with minimum download speed of 20mbps and upload speed of 20mbps
