A-Line Staffing is now hiring a DATA ENTRY Pharmacy Technician(Closed-door pharmacy)in Cary, North Carolina 27513. The Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company with career growth potential. This would be full time / 40 hours per week.

Compensation

• The pay for this position is $22.30 per hour / paid bi-weekly
• The schedule: M-F 11am to 8pm, Training will be 9 to 6pm

DATA ENTRY - Responsibilities

• Checks all orders for completeness of information.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions
• Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization.
• Checks all orders for insurance approval.
• Calculates correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.
• Enter and process new prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system where permitted by pharmacy regulation, and only at the direction of the supervising pharmacist after their review of the prescription in accordance with The Company policy and procedure.
• Process prescription refills to include: refill confirmation when appropriate, review pending refills with the supervising pharmacist, generate refill documentation and process third party claims adjudication.
• Accurately process all orders in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining the accuracy of software templates.

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience with insurance, prescription refills, new patient profiles, and pharmacy software.
• At least 6 months of consistent data entry as a part of daily functions.
