YOUR DAY AS AN LPN
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your day will revolve around providing essential medication management services to individuals with mental health diagnoses. You will administer prescribed medications, including injections, and monitor patients' vital signs and health progress. You'll be responsible for collecting samples for routine tests and ensuring accurate medical records are maintained. You'll act as a liaison with outside providers and assist with patient advocacy and medication education. Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, you'll support integrated care by bridging behavioral health and primary care. Your role will also involve providing high-touch in-person support to ensure treatment and medication adherence.
YOUR SCHEDULE
Our Licensed Practical Nurses work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm. This structure ensures you have evenings and weekends free, providing a great work-life balance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee without any restrictions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
At least six months of experience in a healthcare or psychiatric setting is preferred.
