Location: Columbia, NC
Pay rate:
36-hour schedule:

• $1,620 per week - Breakdown: $25/hour + $720 weekly travel stipend

48-hour schedule:

• $2,260 per week - Breakdown: $25/hour for the first 40 hours + $37.50/hour for the remaining 8 hours + $960 weekly travel stipend

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine care, administer medication, and assist with medical treatments for inmates.
• Monitor and document patients' health conditions, reporting any significant changes to the medical team.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs and physicians, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assist in emergency medical situations as needed.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and safety protocols within the correctional facility.

Requirements of the LPN

• 1+ years of LPN experience within the last 3 years
• 1 year nursing experience required; 1 year psychiatric experience preferred.
• BLS from American Heart Association required
• Experience in correctional or institutional settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
