What You'll Do:

• Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise and coordinate the CNAs to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained
• Process all admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents during your shift
• Administer medications and treatments and maintain proper charting for the unit, all in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures
• Maintain a high standard of resident care
• Respond immediately to all crises and/or calls for assistance
• Other duties as required

What you need to be successful:

• Requires current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Illinois state license 
• Minimum 6 months experience in skilled nursing 
• Pass a state-required background check  
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language 
• Current CPR Certification 
• COVID-19 vaccination/booster or medical/religious exemption
