Shift: Full time, Days Monday -Friday
Responsibilities:Be the Heart of Healing: Join Us as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Heart Care!
Join our team as a key player in daily clinic operations under the guidance of the Clinic Nurse Director or Supervising RN. In this role, you'll directly impact patient care by managing patient flow, taking histories and vitals, assisting with diagnostic testing, and maintaining medical supplies.
Essential Functions:
- Patient Preparation: Get patients ready for exams by accurately recording histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating medications and concerns.
- Support Physician: Assist with patient care both in the clinic and at off-site locations.
- Treatment Room Management: Keep examination rooms spotless and well-stocked, and prepare supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
- Diagnostic Testing: Conduct various tests such as Holter monitors and EKGs.
- Treatment Execution: Perform treatments like suture or staple removal, wound care, and more.
- Triage & Communication: Use your judgment to triage patient calls and process them according to physician guidelines.
- Pharmacy Coordination: Authorize drug refills and relay prescription information to pharmacies.
- Phlebotomy: Perform blood draws when needed.
- Chart Review: Ensure patient charts and records are complete before visits.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage patient appointments as needed.

Qualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification needed within 30 days of hire. Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active Oklahoma licensure.
Experience: Ideally, you have 1-2 years of steady experience in a clinic setting.
