The Opportunity:  

Saint Luke's Physician's Group is hiring a full time LPN for our float pool. The float pool provides coverage to clinics across the metro Kansas City area. Float schedules can be aligned with clinics closet to a candidates preferred location.

As an LPN on this team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a care team to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients. By following established standards and practices, you will play a large role in maintaining our vision, “The best place to get care. The best place to give care.” 

The Shift:

Monday through Friday day shift 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Work: 

• Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care 
• Schedules emergent need patient appointments 
• Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration. 
• Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice 
• Enters admission orders as directed by provider 
• Manages expired samples. 
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed 
• Prior LPN experience strongly preferred for the float pool.
