The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, or developmental disabilities.
River Edge is currently hiring to staff one of our brand-new facilities!
The new River Edge Recovery Center is a residential alternative to or diversion from inpatient hospitalization. We offer 24-hour walk-in outpatient services, a 23-hour observation unit, crisis residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detoxification services.
River Edge is currently hiring nurses for jobs in our crisis stabilization substance abuse recovery centers and mental health clinics. If you are an LPN looking to grow your nursing career in behavioral health.
Location/Schedule: The Recovery Center (Adult or Child & Adolescent CSU)
Shifts available (7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m 36 hours 3-12-hour shifts Sunday-Saturday and every other weekend.
The Recovery Center [formerly known as Crisis Stabilization Unit] is a residential alternative to or diversion from inpatient hospitalization, offering psychiatric stabilization and detoxification services. The program provides medically monitored residential services to provide psychiatric stabilization and substance detoxification services on a short-term basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families participate in treatment team planning and perform crisis intervention.
- Assist in dealing with personal and social problems.
- May provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services.
- May perform case management duties, and care for ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled persons.
Minimum Training & Experience:
- A Current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in the delivery of behavioral health services is a plus.
