Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics - BrightStar Care of Hunterdon

Job Summary:
Brightstar Care Hunterdon is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Registered Nurse (LPN) for a per diem position to provide high-quality patient care in Warren County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring 15 month old with trach and vent dependency.

Responsibilities:

• Obtains vital signs, temperature, height/length, weight, oxygen saturation and pain scores; reports abnormal values to RN.
• Obtains other measurements (i.e., head circumference, abdominal girth) per unit standard.
• Responds to monitor alarms.
• Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in infusions, and lab draws
• Proficient in inserting and maintaining peripheral IV lines
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on a per diem basis, with the potential for variable shifts and locations
• Reliable transportation
