Job Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. Provides basic patient care and works under the supervision of doctors, registered nurses, and other healthcare providers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• State License
• 2 yrs. experience
• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
• Update patient records in a confidential manner
• Evaluate the patient’s well-being, reporting any needs to medical staff
• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
• Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management and organization
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move patients
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Extensive knowledge of basic healthcare procedures
• Knowledge of measuring and administering medication
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform assigned tasks/be drug-free.

Labor Rates: The following rates include labor wages, lodging, per diem, and travel.

Registered Nurse $30-$36/hr.

Each applicant interested in supporting in Florida will need deployment and arrive at the designed site within 24 - 48 hours from the time of notice. Each applicant will need to complete their onboarding packet. It is uncertain as to the locations where personnel will be needed but will be located at a staging area established by State agencies in various regions of the state.
