RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Makes Daily Rounds on the Unit to Observe and Evaluate Physical and Emotional Status of Residents
• Provides Comprehensive Oversight to Unit Staff to assure Nursing Care is Provided according to Physician's Orders
• Analyzes and Evaluates Nursing Staff needs as well as DeterminesStaffing Requirements
• Assesses the Needs of Each Resident, and Implements the Resident Interim Care Plan
• Provides Daily Input to the Unit Manager for Development of the Resident Care Plan
• Performs Generalized LPN/Charge Nurse Duties
• Supervising and Assisting CNA’s with Resident Direct Care as Needed

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Active LPN License in New Jersey
• Able to Communicate Clearly in English Verbally and in Writing
• Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
• Strong Bedside Manner
• Ability to work together in a Supportive Team Atmosphere
