Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) Responsibilities:
- As a licensed practitioner of the healing arts, you will oversee the planning and implementation of social services programs in your facility.
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, including MHPs, QMHPs, CRSs, and RSAs
- Experience with evidence based treatment modalities including wellness recovery action plans, illness management and recovery, dual diagnosis, and trauma informed care
- Oversight of the implementation of treatment programs
- Coordinate referrals of residents to services the facility does not provide
- Develop and coordinate educational in-services
- Provide clinical case supervision of all treatment personnel
- Oversee the assessment of all potential residents
- Develop Performance Improvement Project (PIP) tools to improve the delivery of care
Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts Qualifications:
- Must meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code (LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, LMFT, etc.)
- At least two (2) years of experience in direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
