The Licensed Psychologist is a critical member of a growing team at Mosaic Pediatric Therapy. This role involves providing diagnostic assessments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for young children in the state of North Carolina.
The Licensed Psychologist will also work closely with the Chief Clinical Officer to ensure high-quality services are delivered to clients assigned to them while implementing Mosaic Group’s clinical and operational policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities of The Position Include:
Providing Assessment Screenings
● Meet with families to familiarize them with the assessment process, answer their questions, and determine the child’s expressive language level for ADOS-2 module selection.
● Document and summarize the outcome of the screening call.
Administration and Supervision of Diagnostic Testing
● Administration and scoring of the ADOS-2 with children ranging in age from 18 months to 9 years.
● Supervision of trained clinicians implementing the ADOS-2.
● Conducting full diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder as needed (full developmental history, ADOS-2, and other assessments such as the Vineland-3, CARS-2, etc.)
● Summarizing assessment results and generating a robust diagnostic report.
Providing Clinical Training
● Provide training to assessment staff on proper implementation and scoring of the ADOS-2.
● Provide coaching when ADOS-2 administrators do not meet clinical expectations or violate policies.
● Contribute to or co-lead monthly group supervision meetings for ADOS-2 administrators.
Work Collaboratively as a Team
● Work with clinical directors and office managers to ensure assessments do not interfere with other clinical operations.
● Work with the intake team to ensure a seamless intake process for families and Mosaic staff.
● Work with the Chief Clinical Officer to ensure diagnostic assessment services are implemented with a high degree of quality
Other Responsibilities
● Attending continuing education events and other training opportunities to improve assessment skills, knowledge of autism, etc.
● Documenting services provided through appropriate clinical notes.
● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.

Education, Experience, And Skills
● Doctoral degree in School or Clinical Psychology
● Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina
● Graduate training in psychological assessment
● Documented experience working with young children, including autistic children
● Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments (direct experience with ADOS-2 preferred)
● Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
● Experience using electronic medical record applications (Central Reach preferred)
● Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
● Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills
● Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or equivalent G-suite applications (Word, Excel)
