We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic medical team. This full-time permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive clinical social work services to a diverse patient population. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing patient health and wellbeing, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of providing high-quality clinical social work services.
Responsibilities:
As an LICSW, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive clinical social work services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning.
2. Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
3. Providing crisis intervention and supportive counseling to patients and their families.
4. Advocating for patients to ensure their access to needed resources and services.
5. Documenting all patient interactions and interventions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
6. Participating in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance your clinical social work knowledge and skills.
7. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols related to clinical social work services.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
2. Current and valid LICSW licensure.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinical social worker, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
4. Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
6. Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
7. Proficiency in electronic health records and other computer applications related to clinical social work practice.
8. Commitment to adhering to the NASW Code of Ethics and other professional standards.

- Provide psychotherapy, behavior therapy, or other counseling services to patient
or families
- Provide education or counseling to individuals and families
- Develop treatment plans in accordance with regulations and agency policy

- Complete documentation as required
- Complete documentation as required and progress notes need to be completed
on the same day of service.
- Pay the employee for a given service if and only if clinical documentation
is received within 24 hours of said service.
