Acton Veterinary Group in Granbury is currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are searching for an individual who possesses a deep love for animals, works well in a team, and has a warm and friendly approach. What’s more is that our animal hospital sees more than your traditional pets—we see small exotic mammals, too, including ferrets, rabbits, rodents, and more! 

Requirements

• Have at least one year’s experience as a veterinary assistant or technician
• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician

Duties

• Clean and stock exam rooms as needed
• Administer treatments to pets
• Collect blood, urine/fecal samples for lab work
• Assist in surgery which may include patient prep, surgical suite prep, and discharge
• Demonstrate proper Fear Free animal restraint for examination
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Work with others as a part of a team for providing exceptional pet health
• Other duties as assigned
