Licensed Veterinary Technicians at Peninsula Animal Referral Center

     The Peninsula Animal Referral Center is seeking a compassionate, team oriented experienced, positive full-time and part-time Licensed Veterinary Technicians for our emergency department. Applicant must have strong communication skills, an energetic attitude, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping client and patient alike.  Must have 1-3 years’ experience. Student LVTs with hands-on experience may apply.

Student LVTs earn $20-$25/hr and LVTs earn $25-$30/hr depending on experience. We offer health, vision, dental, life insurance, continuing education, Simple IRA, PTO, and many additional benefits.

Current open schedules  for full-time are:

Sunday and Monday 8am-4pm with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:30pm-12am (off Friday and Saturday)

Wednesday-Saturday 3pm-12am (off Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday)

Part-time availability for Saturdays 8am-4pm.

Our LVTs will be responsible for a variety of duties include but not limited to, execute laboratory tests, assist Veterinarian in Surgery, patient monitoring and care, administering and logging controlled drugs, emergency triage, client communication and education, supervised euthanasia, and staff training.
