• Location : Correctional Facility in Soledad, California
• Pay Rate $53 to $58 Per Hour Quarterly Bonus
• Schedule : 6 months Full Time Contract Eligible for extension
• Wed - Sun 06:00am - 02:30pm 
• Wed - Sun 02:00pm - 10:30pm
• Thurs - Mon 06:00am - 02:30pm
• Thurs - Mon 02:00pm - 10:30pm
• Fri - Tues 06:00am -02:30pm 
• Fri  - Tues 02:00pm-10:30pm
• Sat - Wed 06:00am -02:30pm
• Sat - Wed 02:00pm-10:30pm 

Requirements: LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse

• Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution. Clinical competencies must be current
• Valid Photo ID Driver’s License or Passport (Required)
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
• Possess a current and valid license issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners

Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse

• Organize, provide, and maintain necessary healthcare services consistent with policies and procedures of the correctional facility.
• Conduct basic hygiene and nursing care, including administration of prescribed medications and the therapeutic effects treatments, and disease prevention, as ordered by the physician
• Collect information regarding patient status and report the results to the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or RN in a timely manner
• Assist the RN and PCP with the clinic appointments e.g., physical exams, minor surgeries, casting, identify minor illnesses
• Document in the patient/youth health record the nursing care and treatment provided and the patient/youth response to facilitate the continuity of care and communicate to other healthcare providers
