As the Licensing Manager you will facilitate agent/agency contract and licensing process for the Bail section of the Surety Division for Core Specialty Insurance.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:
Process agent onboarding including but not limited to:
Due diligence – perform background/credit checks,
Prepare contracts for distribution and execution
Agent/Agency Appointment and renewal process (SIRCON, NIPR, OPTins)
Ensure ongoing agent licensing compliance related to continuing education and other periodic State requirements.
Communicate effectively with agents and State Departments of Insurance.
Assist with securing agency collateral to serve as collateral on bail agency agreements.
Assist agents/agencies with licensing questions and issues.
Maintain Company agent/agency records.
Assist Division in other areas as requested.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
Computer skills – good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel
Experience with SIRCON, OPTins, NIPR, Docusign, preferred
Experience with ImageRight preferred
Ability to interpret licensing insurance regulations
Ability to simplify, analyze and explain complex issues.
Ability to review processes and determine opportunities for improvement.
Ability to work at both an overview and detailed level.
Ability to manage time and projects effectively
Experience:
Undergraduate degree, paralegal certification or similar work experience preferred.
Prior insurance experience preferred.
