The licensing specialist has repetitive tasks on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis, which requires attention to specific details and deadlines.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:
Processes and pays all state licensing renewals for our Medical Stop-Loss agents following state deadlines.
Collaborates both internally with Compliance and externally to resolve licensing and appointment inquiries.
Reviews and interprets various state regulations.
Maintains the agent database system to ensure proper record-keeping.
Activates and terminates new and existing agents in accordance with the department’s guideline.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
Duck Creek Distribution Management System experience is a plus but not required
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two years of college or three years of insurance/related experience.
Supervisor/management experience not applicable.
