Location: Rochester, Minnesota (Hybrid Work Option)
Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 Annually
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Summary:
We are actively seeking experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our mental health clinic as independent contractors in Minnesota. This flexible role offers you the freedom to set your own schedule, work remotely or in-office as needed, and provide high-quality mental health services to diverse client populations. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, empathetic professional who thrives in a semi-autonomous work environment, is committed to clinical excellence, and enjoys the opportunity to manage their own caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients across a variety of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Offer psychoeducation and resources to clients to support their mental health goals.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to provide comprehensive care, including referral to psychiatric or medical providers when appropriate.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and peer consultations as needed to maintain licensure and enhance professional development.
- Manage a flexible caseload, allowing for personalized scheduling that meets both client needs and your professional balance.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Active, unrestricted licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in providing psychotherapy or counseling services.
- Demonstrated experience in working with a diverse range of client populations, including individuals, couples, and families.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or other therapeutic modalities.
- Ability to work independently, with clinical support staff taking care of billings, scheduling, and other administrative duties.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Hybrid work model allowing for a combination of in-office sessions and telehealth/remote therapy.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to set your own hours within reasonable availability to accommodate client needs.
- Independent contractor status, offering autonomy and control over your practice and workload.
- Access to office space for in-person sessions, with support from administrative staff for scheduling, billings, and client communication if needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual compensation ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience, client caseload, and productivity.
