Overview:
AAA Life Insurance is hiring for licensed DSU Sales Agents! The DSU Sales Agent is responsible for the sale of AAA Life Insurance products in a high volume, fast paced call center environment. DSU Sales Agents explain product features and benefits to potential customers for the purpose of promoting and selling various insurance products to achieve specific production goals. DSU Sales Agents also provide services factoring in all applicable rules (underwriting, business procedures, etc) and performs follow-up as necessary to ensure placement of written business.
Responsibilities:- Promotes the sale of AAA Life Insurance products in a call-center environment, via outbound as well as inbound calls.
- Perform sales conversations, including cross-sell and upsell opportunities, with prospective customers.
- Explains the benefits and features of AAA Life Insurance products and identifies best product fit(s) based on needs analysis discovery.
- Responsible for submitting appropriate and accurate life insurance applications, and all other applicable forms as necessary.
- Follows life insurance regulations and internal processing procedures to ensure all transactions are completed accurately.
- Achieves / exceeds established sales goals and other performance expectations.
- Builds and maintains relationships with customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Consistently leverages our brand and commitment to create a positive member sales experience.
- High School degree or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Must possess current license to sell life insurance. Must also attain and maintain any life insurance sales licenses in all applicable states.
- Minimum 2 or more years of sales experience required
- At least one year sales experience in the insurance and/or financial services preferred.
- Proven track record of providing a high level of customer-focused services.
- Prior experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies simultaneously, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and web related products.
- Availability to work extended / irregular hours to include weekends.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues to a range of audiences.
