Pay: $25- $26 per hour DOE
Schedule:
- Part-Time & Full-Time Schedules available!
- Flexible hours, but will be between:
- Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

As a Life Skills Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the development of practical skills necessary for everyday living. Your expertise will help individuals enhance their self-sufficiency, improve their quality of life, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement personalized life skills training programs.
- Teach essential skills such as time management, financial literacy, communication, and problem-solving.
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting programs as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Stay updated with best practices and new developments in life skills training.
- Will maintain and provide documentation for each individual Coaching Session in such form, and setting forth such information and data, as is reasonably requested and/or required by the Company.
- Complete any other necessary forms, logs and reports as required or requested by the Program Director. All documentation, reports, and paperwork shall be submitted in accordance to the deadlines and schedules set forth by the Program Director and work collaboratively and effectively communicates with department heads, therapists, and residential mentor staff.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent education and experience) in the behavioral sciences, social services, or a related field is required. A related graduate degree or concurrent enrollment in a master’s level degree program required. Alternative verifiable equivalent education and experience will be taken into consideration.
- AMFT, APCC, ACSW, or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teaching, training, and facilitation skills. Minimum 1 year of experience working as a professional life skills specialist, clinician, teacher, instructor, or related profession.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a clinical or Behavioral health setting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with young adults.
AND/OR
- 2 years experience working with youth
- Interested in working with young adults 18-25 in a residential capacity
- Ability and willingness to demonstrate empathy and concern with a high risk population
- CA Driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass TB test
- Willing to become CPR/First Aid Certified and get flu shot
