Lifeguard - Aiken YMCA/USCA - Family YMCA of Greater Augusta

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director or Senior Program Director, the lifeguard provides excellent customer service while maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. The lifeguard creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with the Family Y of Greater Augusta policies and procedures.

SHIFTS:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
7:00AM - 12:00PM until November 1 at Aiken County Family YMCA
7:00AM - 9:00AM November 4 - mid-May 2025

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification & experience STRONGLY preferred but not required
• CPRo/BLS, First Aid, AED
• Minimum 16 years of age
• Must complete successful background screening, which includes criminal and drug screening
