Light Commercial HVAC Technician servicing Rooftop Units, Package Units & Split Systems - Hunton Services - The Hunton Group

Hunton Services is seeking to hire seasoned Light Commercial HVAC Technicians who will be responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment with an expertise in servicing large HVAC equipment from 5T to 150 T rooftop package units, split DX A/C systems.

Summary:

• Service large HVAC equipment from 5T to 150 T rooftop package units, split DX A/C systems 
• Reciprocating, screw and centrifugal compressor operation 
• Responsible for service, repair, and maintenance of industrial process chillers 
• Responsible for process chiller electronic controls and servicing walk-in coolers
• Service ancillary equipment, unitary equipment, centrifugal and screw chillers 
• Repair of environmental-comfort systems

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years).
• Must be willing to work after hours and weekends when required
• Ammonia refrigeration & VRF system services experience is a plus

 Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree in a technical field desired
• 3 years of HVAC experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
• Universal EPA certification is preferred
