Salary Range: $25.2900 - $38.9200 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Under general supervision, this position will assist physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties as a Medical Assistant within the scope of practice. As the limited X-Ray Technician perform diagnostic x-rays within their licensure for patients of all ages and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the direction of the radiologist; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel. The limited x-ray technician is also responsible for all duties relating to the darkroom.
Education and Experience Required: High school Diploma or GED Required Graduate of a State recognized vocational School Certificate of completion from an accredited limited radiology program, including digital training MA Certificate Current CPR Certificate Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Windows Knowledge/experience with GE RIS and PACS Preferred: Associate or Bachelors’ degree in healthcare-related field Working Knowledge of EPIC or other Electronic Medical Record system ‘EMR’ Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates
Certifications Required LXT - Limited Permit Radiation Technologist to include Digital Radiography, Chest, Extremities and Torso-Skeletal OR Radiology Technician - Diagnostic Current BLS Certification
