About the Job
Required Skills for the LIMS Specialist:
• 2-3 years of experience
• Serving as lab admin for Sample Prep team and Entomology team
• Learn and document how team is using Labware, future needs, capabilities and support problems
• Management, Instrument Interfaces, Lot, Sample Management
• Serve as interface between stakeholders and IT
• Resolve or escalate LIMS issues to appropriate IT teams
• Prioritize team LIMS needs for fixes and/or enhancements, serve as the point of contact/rep to DSI and IT
• Ability to learn and understand lab, field, and greenhouse operations
• Experience with Agile Software development and use Aha!
• Proven ability to support a large organization that spans multiple locations
Responsibilities:
• LIMS configuration as a LIMS admin for Labvantage
• LIMS support to fix and/or escalate issues to appropriate IT teams
• Candidate will be coordinating across multiple teams and to unblock challenges and progress each delivery item
