Line Cook - Assisted Living - Home Health Care, Inc.

Job Title: Line Cook - Full Time

Location: Elmore Assisted Living – Elmore, MN and Nagel Assisted Living – Waconia, MN

Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time Available, Days (9:30am to 6pm) + Every Other Weekend (9:00am to 5:30pm)

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00/hour

Position Overview: If you are a line cook, prep cook, or have experience in the food or hospitality industry, Sunflower Communities has an opportunity for you! We are seeking a cook for our assisted living community in Elmore. You will work directly under the Executive Chef to follow recipes, prepare ingredients, and create delicious meals for residents.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Follow the guidance of the Executive Chef to prepare and dish meals for our residents
  
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
  
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  
• Maintain high quality food safety standards
  

Cook Qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  
• Previous food prep experience required
  
• Acknowledgement and compliance with sanitation regulations
