Salt & Vine is a scratch-kitchen, high end Italian restaurant in Olney, MD. We are seeking experienced line cooks to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our recipes.
- Must be skilled on one or more of the following stations: broiler, saute, salad/dessert, pizza.
- Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen.
- Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on quality control schedule.
- Any additional tasks requested by Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
- Ability to multi-task and work as a team.
- Handle pressure and fast paced environment with a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years of high volume line cook experience at a full service restaurant.
- Must have reliable transportation as early as 8am and as late as midnight.
- Must have full availability including weekends and holidays.
