Line Lead Operator - PS Seasoning

Position Summary;

This position requires aself-driven, well organized Production Line Lead who can exercise decisionmaking skills and time management with little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communicationskills are required. This positionreports to the Production Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with theresponsibilities that are included below.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee the operation of a production line
• Communicate directly with workers to ensure deadlines are being met
• Recommend improvements in process to make it more efficient
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes
• Oversee daily line audits and safety checks
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Maintain safe work environment and participate in safety program development
• Ensure product is in compliance with customer standards and fulfillment goals are met
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and employee safety programs
• Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

• Basic math skills required
• Basic computer skills required
• Forklift experience required
• 5s experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact when working with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and adapt to changing deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Lifting up to 60 lbs on regular basis
