Purpose: Operate & maintain assigned lines in a safe and effieiect manner with high quality and productivity, and provide support to the line leader.
Shift: Day & night shifts are available. Day Shift Hours: 6:30am to 7:00pm; 4 days on/4 days off. Night Shift Hours: 6:30pm to 7:00am; 4 nights on/4 nights off.
Qualifications:
- Requires a positive team-oriented attitude and communication skills.
- Ability to read tape measure.
- Recent Manufacturing experience.
- Must also be able to multi-task, with little direction while maintaining a high attention to details.
- Requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, stooping, and stretching, and manual dexterity.
- Required to occasionally ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs over extremely fast-moving machinery.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Required to safely access fast moving machinery, which includes rolls with inward nip points.
- Safety – Performs all tasks in a safe manner, wearing required PPE and following all safety regulations.
- BBS and Near-miss reporting participation
- Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach
- Meet productivity standards
- Complete required documentation
- Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine
- Make adjustments to machinery as needed
- Suggest improvements to processes or procedures
- Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leaders and Sr. Process Engineers for issues and improvements
- Perform 5S and other housekeeping duties required for clean and safe work environment
- Obtain and maintain three Certifications
- Train others as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
