Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assisting the Lead Technician to set up and break down jobs for the day
- Perform excavation and backfill in different environments for residential and commercial projects
- Troubleshoot and diagnose drain system issues
- Assist with cleaning and preparing drain lines, and capturing video inspections and installation data
- Assist building of liners and liner installations
- Assist Lead Tech to keep daily Inventory Control of materials and tools
- Keep company vehicle and equipment clean and clean-up of job sites
- Provide property protection of customer and company property
- Can prep pipe sections for installs, measure build and successfully install liners without supervision. Works with Lead Tech to maximize safety of jobsite, employees and customers and help create successful lining jobs.
- Perform other duties assigned by Lead Tech, Project Manager, or Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of Drain Lining experience required
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 35 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
- Must be able to operate electro-mechanical equipment common to the lining profession, including descaling machines, drain video equipment, scales, power tools, jetters
- Operate standard mobile devices and office equipment (computers, phones, copier).
Environmental Conditions:
- Travel to a variety of work sites every day in a company vehicle.
- May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust.
- May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights Certifications provided as needed.
- May be required to work weekends or nights on commercial lining projects
- Travel work out of San Diego available for qualified applicants
