Atlas Technologies, Inc., a rapidly expanding company supporting the U.S. Military and other Government entities, is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) with a strong Linux systems administration background, and who is a passionate, flexible, and highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. Providing support for NIWC PMW160 ADNS CaaS project.
Pay band $83,000 - $98,000
You Will:
- Track and investigate STIGs /CVEs and other Cyber Command vulnerabilities that impact ADNS CaaS Red Hat baselines.
- Review Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans.
- Work with ADNS Cyber security team to ensure Red Hat vulnerabilities, STIGs, and RMF controls are mitigated and documented to maintain Navy’s Authority to Operate (ATO) requirement.
- Utilize JIRA configuration management to create and manage project epics, bugs/issues (STRs/IAVs), fleet support user stories, and documentation tasks.
- Work with software test team to ensure bugs identified are entered in OSA JIRA.
- Assist with sprint planning to ensure applicable software enhancements, security fixes, and trouble reports are identified.
- Create and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) in NIWC PMW160 product lifecycle and configuration management solution (CMPro).
- Work with ADNS Configuration Management team to create MS PowerPoint briefs to present Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) updates to the various PMW160 Change Control Boards (CCBs).
- Understanding of network functions, network virtualization, software design fundamentals, software development, software testing, configuration management, network protocols, network security, and system security.
- Ability to deploy computing system architectures, services, and technologies. Specific disciplines include Red Hat Linux OSes, virtual & physical interfaces/bridges/LANs.
- Knowledge of wide area networks (WAN), network services (OSPF, Multicast), network management, and network monitoring is a plus.
- Participate in CaaS tag up and program meetings as needed.
- Work with software development and technical writer team members to create Test Plans, Test Reports, Software Version Description Documents (SVDD), Implementation Plans, Load Plans, and Software Operations Manuals.
- Create Navy Fleet Advisory Messages (FAMs) for software releases
- Manage software toolkit media (Baseline DVDs, Patch DVDs, Documentation CDs)
You Have:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
- Experience with:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8 Server Operating Systems
- Linux Networking
- Containerization technologies (Podman or Docker)
- Software Defined Networking concepts and technologies
- Bug/project tracking in JIRA
- CMPRO Product Lifecycle Management Software
- Agile software development processes
- Software configuration management (CM) processes, including planning, change control, validation, and release for multiple product baselines
- A CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent security certification
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies using Red Hat KVM, and ESX VMware
- A BS degree in Engineering or Physical Science or a related field preferred but experience may be substituted for degree
- One or more of the following: Academic SDN certifications, vendor neutral certifications (Open Networking Foundation, OpenStack), Vendor SDN and NFV certifications
- A RHCA is preferred but not required
