| Roles & Responsibilities | 1. Understand and estimate the Linux server configuration based on project requirements 2. Need to make sure that 0% down time for all Linux servers and apps running on the machines. 3. Attend weekly/regular status meeting with IT support groups/Project teams to provide the updates. 4. Should be able to delegate works with offshore team 5. Should be able to support and train other server administrators in the team. 6. Should be able to install necessary procedures and security tools on Linux servers. 7. Linux patching 8. Software installations 9. Work on remediating/fixing security vulnerability issues. 10. Monitor/review the server logs and work on fixing the issues. 11. Disk backup and restore scripts and its scheduling 12. Disk Space allocation and Utilization/growth analyses and provide the recommendations. 13. Troubleshoot network related issues 14. Working on maintenance script and automated monitoring scripts for Server Load Average, Memory Usages, Failed login attempts etc. 15. Should be able to handle P1 and P2 kinds of issues 16. Should be able to work on 24x7 support model on demand basis 17. Work on Tickets/Issues related to a) Server Load Average is high b) Memory Usage is High c) Unable to Login to Server d) isk Space Full e) Network is dropped |

| Education | Bachelors in Computer Science or Equivalent, Other education backgrounds considered if the candidate possess more than 4 years' experience in development and maintenance. |
