Linux Systems Administrator
This position is based out of South Orlando office & some remote
Managing & maintaining the Optum CS&S Linux Environment & any projects that may come up.
This position is part of team.
Optum CS&S System Administration team, 10 on the entire team, 2 of which primarily manage all linux servers
Responsibilities:
Redhat, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, TFTP

Linux Systems Administrator

Managing & maintaining the Optum CS&S Linux Environment & any projects that may come up.

Optum CS&S System Administration team, 10 on the entire team, 2 of which primarily manage all linux servers
Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, maintain & secure linux servers
- Maintain patching & vulnerability scan remediation
- Manage & maintain LDAP servers
- Work directly with other IT teams for troubleshooting & root cause analysis
- Handle daily helpdesk tickets
Redhat, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, TFTP
Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 years of administration experience with Red Hat Linux (or certification)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- 1+ year Windows server administration experience
- 1+ year C#, powershell, or other scripting experience
- Bash shell, sed/awk, perl, python, C and other languages are a plus.
- VMWare experience a plus
