Job Title : Linux Systems Analyst
Location : Austin, TX.
Position Type : 06+ Months Contract
Rate : DOE $/hr on W2
Interview Process : Phone followed by Face to Face

The contractor will be a member of a team responsible for managing and maintaining production and development infrastructure. Contractor will assist the team to quickly troubleshoot technical problems and performance issues with Linux systems, services and with hardware. Contractor should have sufficient technical expertise to be able to assist in maintaining and managing production systems, analyze problems, and configure systems within the distributed computing environment; assist in maintaining Linux/UNIX based Web applications and database server infrastructure; assist with multiple projects with various priority levels and time lines from start to finish; and assist in tuning and monitoring applications and operating system performance.

Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years Hands on experience with Linux / UNIX server and operating system technologies, including architecture and design.
- 5 years' Experience supporting multi-tier Internet application platforms
- 5 yearsExperience supporting middleware components like web servers [Apache 2.x], application servers [Red Hat JBoss EAP 5.x, EAP 7.x, and Tomcat 5.x, 7.x]
- 5 years' Experience withstandard infrastructure and networking services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, SSH, Samba, NTP
- 5 years Coding experience such as Perl, Python, PHP, HTML, and Bash scripting
- 5 years' Experience with Solaris operating Systems
- 5 years' Experience in RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, SQL serveror MySQL)
Preferences:
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree
