Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISWs), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs), and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselors (LICDCs) to join our network of mental health professionals. As an LISW, LPCC, or LICDC contracted through Alto Health Care Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, hospitals, residential treatment facilities, and more. This flexible role offers the freedom to choose assignments based on your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and substance abuse issues, as well as their treatment needs and goals.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
Provide counseling and psychotherapy to clients across the lifespan, addressing a wide range of mental health and behavioral concerns.
Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and support groups for clients with similar needs and experiences.
Monitor clients' progress in treatment, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed to promote positive change and recovery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Stay current on developments in the field of mental health and addiction treatment, and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in the state(s) of practice.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the field of mental health and/or substance abuse treatment preferred.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in counseling and psychotherapy, as well as addiction treatment modalities.
Strong clinical assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
