About the Job
We are searching for a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney interested in fighting for workers rights in a variety of employment disputes. Associate attorneys work with senior attorneys and staff in a collaborative environment, assisting in all aspects of litigation and taking on increased responsibility. This is the perfect role for an emerging associate attorney looking to build expertise in employment law with a recognized practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, briefs, and related correspondence
- Participate in client interviews, strategy discussions, and depositions
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar
- 0-2 years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side experience preferred)
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Passion for employment law and commitment to fighting for employee rights
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
