We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm and looking to increase its talented ranks of Litigation Attorneys by adding a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years to join our growing Rochester office.

Successful Candidate:

A self-starter with a strong work ethic and organizational skills are essential for this position. Must have good oral communication skills and ability to communicate and be personable with clients, court staff, adversaries, witnesses; must be true team player genuinely interested in working in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Candidate should have experience in all phases of litigation including but not limited to drafting litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery demands, taking depositions, conducting research, and appearing in Court. Candidate should also ideally have experience in litigations involving employment and labor law, businesses, real property, contract disputes and other general civil and commercial litigation.

REQUIREMENTS:

What you will need to have:

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Benefit is also licensed to practice in New York.
• 2-4 years of experience in New York.
• Must be detail and deadline.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and prioritize work tasks in an effective.
• Strong oral and written advocacy.
• A writing sample will be requested prior to any interview.
• Comfortable working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management and all colleagues at other departments in a fast-paced.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.

COMPENSATION:

• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Salary Range $75k-$100k
• Benefits: Medical, Dental 401K
