A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will join as a department attorney with a reduced hours target of 1600.
Key responsibilities and qualifications include:
The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage cases, demonstrating expertise in motion practice and depositions. After three years of strong performance, there may be an opportunity for promotion to a partnership track position.

Job Details
A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will join as a department attorney with a reduced hours target of 1600.
Key responsibilities and qualifications include:
- At least 3 years of law firm litigation experience
- Proficiency in handling catastrophic casualty claims, premises liability, product liability, dram shop, hospitality-related litigation, transportation & logistics, and other complex torts and business disputes
- Experience defending individual, insurance, and corporate/SIR clients
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Deposition experience (required)
- Some trial experience (desired but not required)
- Ability to work independently and handle litigation matters from complaint response through pre-trial conferences
- Capability to run litigation matters autonomously with partner oversight
